(Nasdaq: MEMY) today announced the appointment of Paul Blake to the Company's
Board of Directors effective November 9, 2007. Dr. Blake has over 27 years of
clinical development experience. He currently serves as the Senior Vice
President and Chief Medical Officer of AEterna Zentaris Inc., a
bio-pharmaceutical company. Previously, Dr. Blake was Senior Vice President,
Clinical Research and Development for Avigenics Inc. From 2001 to 2006, Dr.
Blake was with Cephalon, Inc. in the clinical research and regulatory affairs
group, most recently as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Medical and
Regulatory Operations. He has also served as Chief Medical Officer for MDS
Proteomics, Inc. and as Medical Director for SmithKline Beecham
Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for its worldwide clinical research
and development operations.
