5-HT6 Antagonists

5-HT6 receptors are selectively found in brain areas involved in cognitive processes. Antagonism of these receptors boosts activity in cognition circuits, producing increased performance in animal models of learning and memory. 5-HT6 antagonists are potential treatments for Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder and obesity. We have developed a portfolio of potent and selective 5-HT6 antagonists, including MEM 68626, which we believe have favorable pharmacokinetic and safety profiles.
